I have a 1998 Infiniti i30 (only 81K!). The moonroof draintube seems to be clogged or partially disconnected. I have shot air through the drain plug at the top. When I test to see how it drains, some of it leaks and some leaks into the headliner and down the bar by the windshield.

I was able to remove the interior piece that is next to the windshield and the tubing looks like it is in good condition.

My suspicion is that it is has disconnected from the plug at the top.

Does anyone know how I get access to that specific area? I have the handle and headliner to deal with to get to that spot. Any suggestions what I can do myself?

Thanks in advance!!

Check pave 37 here. Might shed a little more light on things.

Thanks for the tip. I removed enough of the headliner to get a visual on the drain port. I thought my eyes were failing me but there is NO tube in which to drain water. Furthermore, I don't see any loose hoses anywhere that seem to have conntected to it at some point.

I do see black tubes that I thought were drain tubes but they appear to run to the rear drains.

What am I missing???
