moon roof motor reset

Hi, guys...new hear. Have an 02 qx4, and the moon roof does the 2" per button press open and close thing. I know from experience with another Pathfinder, and a Subaru, that there is a motor reset process that will likely restore the factory function. I did a search, but could not find it on here. Does anyone know what that process is?
