I recently bought some Dorman S13 front lower control arms with the intention of swapping in some S14 Moog lower ball joints. I pushed the dorman ball joints out and was going to press the Moog ball joint in. when I went to put the ball joint in it just slipped right in without any pressing. Its not completely loose or anything but I wouldn't say it fits snug. I measured the ball joints and they measure 1.625", while the moog measures 1.615 and the ball joint hole measures 1.614 of so. anyone ever have this type of problem? im guessing ill have to get new control arms from a different company....?

Yes I had this problem with my ser b14. For some reason the ball joints I got just kinda plopped in there. I had to get some cheap dura lasts for them to fit right.( and actually seamed like a better quality) and did the same thing, I just measured them in the store.

Yeah cuz they wouldn't fit. I had to take them back to csk and go to auto zone because they didn't have any other ball joints. Same exact thing happened to my buddy with his ford pobe.

I have this same problem, but only on the driver's side. I'll try this other brand of ball joint when winter comes around.
