what exactly? so far every setup i've come across is an ikeya inner + moog outer tie rod combo. can these moog outers go with anything else that you guys would recommend? (besides megans and tiens... too many of you dislike em)

ALSO i need to get this part right. i've got an s13. if i go with s14 moog outers and s14 ANYTHING(that couples with moogs) inners, there's nothing else that i necessarily have to buy/change/adjust to make the parts fit in my 1990 s13? thaaaaaaanx cause i really just need the clarifications. otherwise i'm going cheap on some oems with beck & arnely (spelled right?)

nvm I decided today I'm getting Ikeyas as well :D

I just need someone to confirm the s13/s14 ordeal for me so that when I do place my orders, they're correct. RHD Japan doesn't have the 240, lol, so is the s14 silvia the right one to couple with? Anyone?

mayn sorry guys i suck at wording things right.
okay lemme try again
can these http://www.rhdjapan.com/ikeya-formula-s ... -s15-20696 specific ikeya tie rods go with s14 moog tie rod ends? and from my understanding, getting s14 moog tie rod ends need no extra parts when applying to my s13, correct?

any answers?

S13 and S14 tie rods are different, the S14 is thicker.
So if you want to use S14 outer tie rod ends, you'll need S14 inner tie rods. Or an aftermarket inner tie rod.
Since mostly all aftermarket tie rods, both inner and outer, are sized after S14 parts.

People usually mate Ikeya Formula inner tie rods (the ones you posted) with S14 outer rods.

Yeah they should, odd why they didn't list the S14 on there.
Anyways, it should work!

yuuup I thought it was odd too... then again they do have a seperate one here http://www.rhdjapan.com/ikeya-formula-s ... -c33-20697 for what look like s14s... but how'd they differentiate? still waiting a response from them personally.

this is essentially the only thing that scares me about ordering these parts. trying to get the right fitments with those moogs shouldn't make me this... uneasy.

do the s14 and s13 share the same rack? I just did my s13 rack but if i decide to turn her into a weekend warrior are 14 and 13 tie rods interchangable on a s13 rack?

Courtesyparts lists the same part # for the P/S rack for the S13 and S14.

Mmm now all I have to think about is if I'm going to get those 7mm spacers PBM also offers. You think they're really necessary? I find them attractive but I'd love some feedback from some people first

If you don't drift, you don't need steering rack spacers. They give you more angle, that's it. If you do get them, make sure to use locktite.
