I want to buy a set off coil springs front and rear. Has anyone used the moog coil springs advertised for pathfinders on rockauto.com. if u look up 1999 qx4 it wont offer them but if u look up 1999 pathy it will offer front and rear. I searched and found 1 thread that has a person using the rears. Has anyone use the whole set F/R? And are kyb rb2 the same as kyb excel g?

I used the Moog on the rear of my '97 Pathfinder. I ordered them from Rockauto and they are excellent. I purchased Gabriel quick struts for the front, which already had the coil attached. They are excellent too.

Strut mount and bearings should be replaced when replacing the front struts. I'd go with Raybestos or Moog; some have had issues with KYB strut mounts & bearings in the past.

As far as I know, the 4x4 polyurethane set should last effectively forever. But think about how many miles you got from the OEM bushings - will you replace your vehicle within that timespan if you go for the cheaper trailing arm replacement option?
