Yup, it's a B210 HoneyBee, named earlier this year by Automobile Magazine as one of the top 100 uncoolest cars. I don't even have a TV and am not watching it, but my dad just told me he was watching it. They're dropping the VQ35 in it.

Any ideas as to when a re-run of the show will be on? I'd like to see it.

quick check of discovery.com says that it'll be on at midnight tonight again.

I was only mildly pleased with the episode. Yes it was an old Datto. Yes it was a VQ35DE. But they used a solid rear end. They cut springs. And still managed to run up a total of 40 grand. I can buy a 350Z for that much, or I could really build a kick a$$ S13 for that

I know I'm in the minority when I say this, but JJ has turned into a chump.

He's become everything he used to be against.

Oh well. Another cool guy turned corporate "boy toy".

Monster Garage used to be damn cool when it was "$3K and 7 days".

$40K on a B210 is retarded, and all his "tough guy / bad boy" act is becoming stale and weak.

They used 40 grand because they bought a brand new 350z and took the motor out of it. Thats where the 40 grand came from

Still obscene compared to what that show used to be and how it used to be run. I still like watching monster garage, its very interesting, but its not as original as it used to be or something.

Yup, as their budget grew, my interest declined. It just doesn't make it that interesting when you go out and buy a brand new car, just to take the engine out and put it in something else, spending a huge sum of money in the process.

Agreed, when you watched motorcycle mania and he said things like, "He said something I didn't like so I hit him", and you knew he was serious, and built awesome bikes with great fabrication skills, back then then he was cool, Ever since a little after monster garage started he's turned into a poser

Yeah its not as good as it was.

Still good though.

The Drift car was great. They could have just droped some $ into the 350z they started with and made a better car, but it was cool to see the (un-cool) Bee get juiced up.

I want that damn B210 now. My 210 wagon will coner like hell on its own but a VQ35 would do wonders for it.

he may not get his parts from there, but he defintely got money from them.

i was never that interested in jessie james when he was relatively unkown, and i definitely don't like him now.

all the "fab" shows on Discovery have gotten to the "oh dear god" stage with all the added drama. You know the producers of the show are telling Paul Sr and the guys at American Hotrod to stir up the stew.

American HotRod is the WORST.

Friggin' Coddington is talented as all hell, but he's an arse.

I still like watching American Chopper, just because Mikey rules and I'm waiting for Paul Sr. to smack Paulie in his whiney spoiled lip.

cant stand American Hotrod. only one person I can deal with on the whole show, and its the painter.

and I dont think Jesse gives a crap whether hes sold out or not. I think he likes having money, and in the case of this episode, I think he wanted to do this because it was crazy, and in his mind funny as hell.

the guy makes bank. He didnt care about spending 30ish grand on a new car that would drive 4 blocks and get torn apart; because hed make more than that from that one episode.

Plus, he likes honeybees. How can he not be cool?
