Well at a local car show/drag raceing event there was a 300ZX that was absolutly INSANE! It had a completely built Chevy 350 small block with a massive turbo poking out of the hood. I watched the guy when he was racing and it was really weird. You couldn't hear the cars engine or exhaust. You couldn't even hear the muscle car that was next to him. When he took off all you could hear was about 150 decibels of TURBO SPOOL. The thing sounded like a Boeing 747 taking off. They booted the guy off the track after 10:00 PM because he car was too loud. Anyways, here are some pics of this hybrid monster. ENJOY!!!!

Ya know.....I completely spaced on that. I'll ask around. A few of my friends were there. Perhaps they caught the 1/4 mile time.

Most drag cars in general are a variation of an automatic transmission. Its just that they arent stupid-proof like automatic cars on the street. They are sequential 1-2-3 (or 4) like a clutchless manual, and do exactly what they are told when they are told. I know my friends got a mustang that he drags and its like that. Go 90 mph and put it into 1 and youll break the damn thing, not like street cars that prevent this.

It's a friend of mine here in town. Car ran a mid 10 second time it's first night out at that track. He had mad traction issues. I have a video here of that run.

Other car ( Nova ) way out in front ran a 11 and still lost.

Oh and it's 1000rwhp - 850+rwtq untuned 31psi.

350 stroker motor in the Z, he has a T66 in a RX/7 and his GF drives a white Supra.

95ka24de, Yes it's an Auto. Not sure on any manuals that's going to handle 850rwtq. That an it is a dragracing type of car.

OneFastJ30, As I stated in my post

He had to let off in that video and then step back into it as you can see in the video. This way his very first run with the car. So sure you can expect low 9 to high 8's once the car is tune/tested and all dialed in.

Should also note, he drives it to the track.

Kinda ballsy (or stupid) to be running that motor (or any motor for that matter) without an air filter. Guess rain, dirt, or small children are no match for it.

Regardless, it's still a sweet looking car, and I'd love to drive it anyday.

I guess one could say that about Powerhousing racing as well with the 8 second 1200rwhp Supra :pface

Here's another board this car is being talked about. Other pictures I took where posted on there too.
