I didn't get any pics of one of the biggest dust storms in the past 15 years (it was dark by the time it reached us) but I did get some cool ones of the sky after the rain storm blew through. Our desert is beautiful.













Didn't faze the kids in the least. About 5 minutes after the storm blew over, Dar was in the pool swimming laps.

This is a beautiful picture. I just saw on the news about the giant dust storm in AZ a few hours ago and thought of you guys. The pictures they were showing were incredible. I was literally a wall of dust blowing into a town.

However, all of our cars are covered in a layer of mud. Not dust, not dirty water droplets... MUD. Like, it looks like we went off-roading.

Dust storms are the coolest weather phenomenon ever. They won't kill you, but they look awesome. We got a few when I lived in Spokane. Unfortunately, the mountain valley kept the dust from leaving promptly.

The news was saying that 2 storms were going to collide and it was ganna rain mud. I guess that happened..
