Why would I NOT want to install Monroe struts on my '97 i30? Are KYBs and Tokicos that much superior?

Driving habits - Average, not many twists-n-turns in Indiana.

Monroe is always a good choice, although I dont know if itd be better than OEM. Usually (although not in the Q) OEM has the best combo of life and cost........ And I dont even know if tockico or KYB even provide struts for the I30...... If tockico does, Id take them, seing how well they do on the 1st gen Q......

If your in Indiana, how about you come show us your I30 in the indy meet on oct 18....... Visit the NICO meets section..... Id really like to see an I30 there (since I havent really seen one in person).........

Check the Maxima /I30/I35 forum, there is a lot of talk about struts there, and the car is basically identical to the Maxima, mechanically.
