Hi, im new to this forumn also new owner of a 98 240sx, these are my plans

My Specs:

2.4 liter Its the ka24de Multi-point injection fuel systemPower: 116 kW , 155 HP @ 5,600 rpm; 160 ft lb @ 4,400 rpmIts pretty much stock...The flywheel was replaced along with the timing belt, i think thats it.

My Plans.

Engine:Im swapping my KA with S14 SR20DET

Performance:Clutch, ACT Extreme or RPS Max StreetB&M ShortshiftLw Flywheel kevlarK-Sport Coilovers

S14 Stage 3a ECU upgrade (340-360bhp) which includes

Free flow air filter Free flow exhaust Tubular manifold Uprated fuel pumpBoost controller to acheive 17-20psi / 1.2-1.4 bar boost pressure Front mount intercooler-Greddy V-SPLNismo 555cc injectors Z32 AFM GT2871R turbo, 52 trim

must see picsand i believe you can use the ka trans. you just need the sr trans housing.just get the sr transmission regardless.and nice list. i look forward to the build

ah ty for saying something about the transmission i had a feeling id need to do something that helps, i think ima just do sr bellhousing and use the ka tran for now, later il do it proper like sr all the way

Omg, I'm sorry dude but I think that looks f***ing horrible. Orange is a nice color just not on that s14.

Ive decided to go Sr all the way but ive been thinking about it for to long so its all mangled in my head.when i swap in the sr20 if i swap the ka transmission with an sr transmission to, there wont be any problems wil there? cuz then the bellhousing work rather than switching just the bellhousing cuz i need a new transmission anyway and is there anything besides wiring that needs to be altered for the sr20 swap im just looking for clerifcation i think im right..min mind is numb now

You'll need a radiator i think, as well as an intercooler, all turbo piping, basically everything turbo related such as boost controller, bov, wastegate... Most sites that have SR20's for sale, come with transmission's, so i wouldnt worry about using your KA transmission. If im wrong please correct me, im also new.

My plans this week or weekend, i should be getting my sr20 in and i will mess with the turbo and put on the new flywheel and clutch make her all ready to be slaped into my baby, i will send pics

Going with a fibranzomy kevlar clutch Xd cerametalic was jus to expensive for this guy

Basically my problems with transmission are over it also comes with the wiring harness so all the mods i gota make for the swap are included sweet deal
