Guys, I hope it doesn't have to come to this, but I *might* need to sell the Vert I just picked up less than two months ago. I am beginning to learn through the grapevine that the contract my company has with a major client might be cut, or even eliminated altogether. We'll know in a few weeks, I reckon. In the meanwhile, the waiting game...and trying to figure out how long my family of four can live on "savings", and credit card. And here's the diamond in the rough, my '93 Vert, which represents six to eight weeks of survival, should it come to that.
Just testing waters...
'93 240SX Convertible117,XXX miles, runs strong. I drove it home 500 miles from the car dealership I bought it from in North Carolina.Paid $3,750.00
I already have the fresh (clean) GA title back from the State.
Mods since purchase: S13 coupe doors and door panels, S14 seat belt conversion, S14 five-lug conversion, S14 wheels with real good tread life on the tires, S13 Silvia six-bolt VLSD with Redline oil, windshield wipers, SPL Parts subframe spacers, new OEM tension rods, new OEM a-arms, a fresh balance/rotate/alignment on the car, and some sound damping inside the car. In total I'd reckon about $1,600 in modifications with installation labor.
Car has a Pioneer MP3 player in the dashboard. Otherwise, it's completely OEM. And yes, I have the OEM parade boot.
I'd like to just get $5,000 out of the car or best offer, which is less than what I have in it. Anyone interested? My thought in the matter is that when things stabilize a bit, and I am assured of income, I can always pick up another project Vert.
I live 45 minutes north of Atlanta.
