i have just had a savings account mature....and for some reason, there's quite a bit more in there than i thought.....all of a sudden i have 6 grand to throw around.....i was thinking that about 2-3 grand to put towards college/savings and spend the rest on the car....i wasn't sure what i should get first for upgrades on it tho...i thought some opinions from the good guys @ NICO would help me in the decision process.....the first mods i thought about were.....

1.) engine rebuild then turbo the KA24DE/VLSD/custom catback2.) new springs and struts, front and rear strut braces/good looking rims3.) new paint job....the current one looks real bad....and a NISMO body kit and a stereo system....the one right now is pulled from a junkyard 240....lol

Damn if I had that much money, i would pay off all my bills(credit card) then save the rest. I rather save it 4 a new car. well that's just what i would do.,

i have no bills at the momemt, however if i did i would pay them off first....lol

Dear god, save the money for school. Im in my first year right now and im BROKE, and I dont pay that much here. Trust me, when your scrongin' for change (like im doing right now), i wish i would have waited for those wheels/exhaust/stereo...Unless of course you dont drink...yet again I didnt before college...

If i were doing those three steps it'd go 2 then 1 then 3 or skip 3 all together and have yourself a nice sleeper!

That 2-3 grand for school will be gone in one month, assuming you're not going to attend a votech or community college. Unless you have a rich parents thats going to pay ur whole tuition, save the whole bundle for college.

nah....no rich parents paying for school...i'm supposed to be getting a TON of financial aid since i'm paying for myself, i'm supporting myself entirely right now out of nessecity, i got kicked out of my house in november...right before i bought my 240....and i have good grades, so if i don't get lots of aid, (find out next week!) then i'm def gonna save it all...

kicked out, that sucks.have you thought about a coilover setup and better suspention components? i would rather have a nice handling and stoping car then all out speed, but thats just me.

good god how did not notice a few thousand more in you account ?! lol. id go to a casino for a day of fun . invest is stocks... haha. personally, id leave it in there longer, save for a rainy day. like for me right now... since my car was stolen, id use that money to buy another car.

for you, if you have any problems with your car, fix them . if not, sound system, i dont think i could stand a car w/o music. its so horrible listening to the wind and the whiz of other cars.

really....even if i go sleeper u think i won't need a paint job? it's in BAD condition....clear coat is peelin around the driver's side door and there's these tiny little pocks all over the hood and the front of the car...
