OK, tomorrow is the big day...I finally get to take my road test, I am so nervous EEEKK! But I won't be taking my car, because it is so much easier on an automatic, so I am just taking my uncles 02 altima :D He might not get it back as quickly as he thinks... But any advice on what NOT to do while taking the road test?

Ummmm, don't make goo-goo eyes at the driving instructor...

Don't fart in the car.

Don't flip anyone off.

Don't jump out of the car and scream, "BOOOO-YEAH!!!" after you parallel park.

Beware of pedestrians. You'd be surprised how many decide to enter the street when you're testing in a residential area.

I had to take my driving test in an 1980 Chevy pos car with a 4 speed w/ a slipping clutch. At the time I hadnt driven a stick shift car since I drove my uncles 64 landcruiser about 3 years ago. I passed though. The reason being I made friend with the instructor and he grew up where I used to live down in the bay area and was telling me stories the whole time basically.

Don't fail! lol

Just keep cool and treat the instructor like he's your friend. When I was taking my test I actually ran a red light and a stop sign... and still passed.

EDIT: YES!!! Exactly what Toahk said!

If you come to a stop sign, and need to scoot up past the 'stopping line' (because of a crappy view or a tree or whatever) inform the instructor before you do so! Plus you're allowd! Had a friend fail a test like that. Be sure you come to a complete stop, also

ohhh... that's where i went wrong,

honestly it all depends on the tester, if he's a **** you'll fail, some guys go out of their way to fail you, that's what happened my first time, second time, i actually thought i did worse, but the guy was cool so he passed me

time was you could slip the guy a $50 and u'd pass for sure, my friends test lasted all of 3 mins that way, left parking, drove 1km or so and came back

yea be courteous, I stopped and looked both ways and the lady said she could have failed me because she said a car was approaching "this was on a 4 way with a stop sign on my direction as well as the opposite" and I kept goin .. But she was coo other than that everything went ok...
