Man that game was completely insane! The Colts came back from a 28 point deficit in the fourth quarter with four minutes to play! And then the field goal that Vanderjagt missed in OT which was called back because of Simeon Rice's "leaping" penalty. I don't like the Colts but they played a hell of a game. Simply Amazing!

While the Colts deserved to win and the Bucs deserved to lose after squandering that lead, that call on Rice for leaping was complete bull****. But congrats to the Colts who, in my opinion, are the best team in the league right now...emphasis on right now.

I agree on the Rice call. It's really too bad that the game had to be capped off by a BS call like that. It really detracts from the amazing comeback the Colts had.

yeah thats was a damn good game. and i think the call was no bs, its in the rule book. and when you blow a lead like that, you dont deserve to win. funny how the kicker almost missed the second one too.

I can see both sides of the call really. I mean it is in the rule book that if you are a yard back from the line of scrimmage, and you jump and land on your teammates, it is considered unsportsman-like conduct. However, this type of thing happens frequently in extra point situations. The refs just decided to call things really close, like the roughing the punter call when Tupa fell on Rhodes. And I couldn't believe that Vanderjagt missed the first field goal when he was 12/12 this year. Then he almost missed the second field goal but the post helped him win it.

The rule is that if you are more than a yard off the line of scrimmage and land on another player after jumping up in the air then that is considered leaping. Problem is, Rice landed on his feet and the replay clearly showed his feet didn't touch the back of another player. This means....the call was crap. But I agree with what was said that it's too bad cuz the Colts comeback will be remember mostly for that call.

I think they were looking at where his knees landed not so much his feet. But either way they called it they way they did and the game ended on that sour note.

Who cares about the call. The COLTS WIN. Hopefully people will start to give them some credit now. They put up 38 against one of the best D's of all time. There were some shady calls against the Colts too though. It all comes around and evens out in the end. Look at that pathetic roughing the kicker call that gave the Bucs a first down. That was BS as much as the Rice call. Oh yeah Colts win.

That was perhaps one of the 4 or 5 greatest games of all time. Un-freakin-believable. Bad calls all around, sloppy football all around. fumbles, and penalties. But, Peyton, what can you say? Amazing again. *870+ yards and Harrison 170+ yards. The greatest QB to WR combo in NFL history. I can't wait to see the Colts play the undefeated Panthers at the dome on Sunday. It's good to live in Indy.

Greatest QB to WR combo in NFL history? Not quite, but close. Manning to Harrison are 4th all-time, according to ESPN.

Don't forget Young/Rice...#1.

Manning was spectacular in that game.

Yeah Young to Rice but they played togeher for 11 years or so. Manning and Harrison have only been together for 6 I think and they already have 64. Young to Rice had 89 in almost twice the time. Just wait and see. Harrison and Manning will both go down as one of the greatest at their positions. Harrison will go down as being the greatest reciever ever, surpassing Rice.

The Colts offense is starting look really good, and wihtout the Edge for the past 2. That isn't good for the rest of the league. The D still has some major gaps and needs maybe another year to really be good, but they are an above average D in the league already. With perhaps the best offense and a top 10 D. The Colts are going to be hard to stop.

Woo Hoo. Go Colts

FYI

The NFL has thouroughly reviewed the Simeon Rice penalty play and has announced that it was a valid penalty and should have been called. Simeon Rice was more than one yard behind the line of scrimmage and ran and jumped in order to block the kick. When he landed, he landed with his knees in the back of one of the Tampa lineman. This is a violation of the rule.

I agree that none-the-less it was a fairly cheap call that is rarely called, but it was valid. The Colts did not get away with a win they did not earn.

i think there was a reason for that call , it was as much bs as the roughing call on the punter , that bad call went in favor of tampa , whom squandered one of the many oppertunitys to get back in the game , refs knowing the call was bad decided to give indy the same shot , so another questionable call went in the favor this time of indy

as a tampa fan im beside myself on this game , very disapointed in what went on , to the point i find my self saying "wecome back old tampa where ya been?"

but i hand it to the colts , what a game , ive never felt so many emotions watching a nfl game , good show guys

see why alot of us tampa fans say that with dungy being in tampa those few years the superbowl would have never been possible ? his team never gave up , even when in a position no team in the nfl has ever come back from

i got to see the whole indy team sunday , 3 busses and a big motorcade rolling into the hotel in tampa , couldnt really see the players that well tho , woulda been nice to give dungy the thumbs up , he wasa good guy for tampa
