Hi. Welcome. Intake & exhaust mods would give some marginal speed & acceleration improvements while @ cruising speed(in addition to sounding good), but also you might want to look into suspension mods. They won't actually make the car faster, but they will allow a skilled driver to go faster under many conditions, by improving handling & steering response. I have many of the Stillen & Racingline products, & they make a difference. I don't know what you consider 'fast', but my 2.5 easily approaches 120mph on a straightaway, & did so before any mod. As far as acceleration, the CVT is a dog off the line & doubt if anything can change that.

Just go with all the standard bolt-on mods: intake, catback, strut tower bar, rear sway bar, and coilovers. Doing so will make your car a tad bit more enjoyable to drive, while improving its handling characteristics.

The 2.5 is a slow....the 3.5 CVT is a lot faster from a standstill and while on the highway.
