Installed the aero kit this weekend along with the C/D rotors. I also painted the calipers black to match the zinc coatings. Have to say the kit makes the car look so much better and aggressive looking. I dont think Im doing the chin. I kinda like the look without it. I canceled the Megan and ordered the Stillen exhaust today. It should be here Friday. Only thing after is piecing the system together.

Anyone needs rotors or the sills I have them for sale. The rotors are in good shape also.

Looks sweet man! I never thought to not add the chin spoiler, but it looks really good. It's all coming together nicely!

Thanks Ken...What do you guys think of grille options. I was thinking 08 but the billet combo is growing on me but something tells me to stay stock.

Oh, and check out this vid of the stillen exhaust. The guy says he lopped off the single tip and added a dual tip on his own. I think it sounds great too.

Only thing I don't like is that the tips are not staggered, but I found some on ebay for the camaro that should work but I couldn't be sure unless I actually installed them - here's a link

That video is why I went ahead and got the Stillen. I love the tips. Nice find Ken. Im gonna install the exhaust first and take some measurements to see if it will fit close to the OEM setup. I cant wait now. Thanks for the find.

Has anyone tried a body colored grill like I've seen on some 03 1rst gen M45's? Anyone have photochop skillz?

I remember someone installed the 08 grill on an 06 and it fit, but from what I recall it didn't sit flush in the front.

In my opinion the only grill worth installing is the Balsarini - Burtman sells it on his site.

Looks Excellent. Nice wheels too. IMO the chin would be a good add. At least you have option to add down the road if you choose.Great work

I guess I need to post some pics of my modified Element114 exhaust. Have had the tips cut off a while back and added dual polished stainless steel tips. The guy did a fairly great job of fabbing them to work correctly. A staggard design would be preferred, but this guy did a good enough job with the tips, that it really didn't matter. Oh, my tips look way better than the ones in the Youtube video. They fit very good to the M's rear bumper. The guy even used a level throughout tack welding them up and welding them solidly. By the way, those staggard tips you posted from that Ebay listing may not work out due to them being too long.My tips do not stick out from my M's bumper like many others do. Makes a big difference.I will post a pic and a vid clip some time or another......

I like that grill the best compared to any other aftermarket ones out there. Don't you have to replace the entire bumper to get that grill?I really think the OEM grill looks better than most of the blacked out or billet type replacements.

No you dont have to replace the bumper for that grille. Only thing that kept me from looking at that grille was the price tag. I dont think I could stomach that purchase just for a grille.M4T5 you need to get that video up. Ill measure for those tips for sure. I think they might fit because the aero kit adds depth to the rear bumper. BTW I was thinking of a debadge or adding the sports emblem to the 45 emblem. What do you guys think?

What did they do in the picture to the top lip portion of the grill. Is it painted? How will it look on other cars?

Yeah, it's painted. I wonder what it would look like with it still being chrome, but they are easy to remove - 4 bolts I think - so painting would be fairly simple and cheap if it didn't look right.

New2Import - Car is really looking good. I like the rim and rotor combo. Where did you buy your rotors?

Trinet motorsports. $215 shipped. I was gonna do big brakes but this car to me stops good for the way I drive. I would be just wasting money and I chose the C/D rotors because I went with ceramic pads and they dont work good on stock rotors.

BTW what about the chrome door moldings. Yea or Ney.
