Okay. I would love to modify my V, yet I don't want to void the warranty. I know those things go hand in hand. But I would love to maybe, put the stillen exhaust on my car. And after the exhaust decide if I want to install a cold air intake. I would also love to put a strut bar and eibach lower springs on it. So if you wise and humble guys could give me some info that would be great! Cause I would love to mod my V!

Modifying you V doesn't mean you automatically void your warranty. They (Nissan) has to prove that whatever you modded actually caused the defect covered under warranty.

So If I kept the pipping but changed the muffler would that stop them from replacing a muffler. And If I put in a new air intake or cold air intake. That basically keeps them from have to replace it. Or is what you saying something goes wrong, and they say you have it modified they would have to prove that the modification caused the defect.

what he means is if you change your cars muffler and somehow something happesn to your engine, they would need to prove that it was the muffler that broke the engine so that they wont fix under warranty, but if they can prove that then they fix it.

Exactly....if you change your muffler out and something goes wrong with it...Nissan isn't going to replace it since it isn't their muffler. You'd have to go back to the manufacturer of the muffler you bought.

Say you put in a CAI and then for some reason your brake system goes funky a month later. Those aren't related so that would be under warranty.

If you popped a turbo in and blew your engine...that's easy enough to relate that the turbo caused your engine to blow and it would not be covered under warranty.

Things to think of when doing modifications to a car;

Are the parts manufactured by a reputable source and of quality materials?

(manufacturers ex. AEM, NISMO etc..)

Will I need assistance installing them or is it a D.I.Y. project?

How much can I afford to spend?

You look headed in the right direction so far to making a nice daily driver
