Modifying a G35 coupe with a 5k budget

Hi I really don't know too much about cars, a little more than the average person maybe but I was wondering if you guys had approximately a 5k budget to modify a G35 coupe 03 for speed, what you would buy etc. I'm asking this because I'm thinking of putting some money into mine and I wanted to see some opinions. I was thinking about Tanabe exhaust, don't know if that'd fit in the budget tho. Also if u can, approximate how much HP the parts will give and approximate price. Thanks.

Personally, I'd go with a Stillen S/C kit - Lots of power, good reliability, and well within your budget.

Not a fan of the Tanabe exhaust for the G. Too much drone at highway speeds.

i second the stillen s/c... but i think only stage 1 is within ur budget... save up just a little more and get stage 2... then you wont have to do anything else to your car for a while... probably get 80-100 ponies

oh ok ty for the suggestions. my friend told me to get a turbo as opposed to a supercharger because it generally gives more hp, so wat i wanna kno is why u recommend a supercharger.. and with 5k i can only afford a stillen supercharger? how much are those approximately

oh and wats stage1/2 sorry im dumb =)

1 more thing, where is the best place to get these parts? online, motorsports warehouse, etc..

another question =) is Z-tube actualy better than say an injen cai? and if it is, do u use z-tubes only with stock airbox or can u get a cai with z-tube.. it says on the stillen site that u can get a z-tube with stillen intake

i actually like the tanube exhaust...best one i've heard in the shop yet...yeah i'd go s/c too...we have alot of TT ones come in with oil leaking everywhere etc...i haven't seen a clean install of a greddy TT kit yet...we had one come in with a procharger on it...it was bad ***...
