Modifications available to boost power on a 2008-G35 (VQ35HR)

hey guys, i am looking for suggestions on how to boost power on a 2008-G35. i am new to this forum and having gone through a few topics, it seems pretty comprehsive.

Primarily, i am not looking for major alterations to engine/intake/exhausts, but just wanted to know what options do i have. would a performance chip make a difference, are there chips designed specifically for this engine, should i do an intake/exhaust upgrade (the intake/exhaust on this model arent that bad) etc. i would be most grateful if somebody could give any suggestions you may have.

hypertech tune is great. i recommend it. add some intakes and exhaust and you are set.

I wouldn't recommend a tune unless you have a few other mods. The factory tune is rather aggressive.

I would start with an intake kit then a CAT-back exhaust. Check out the G-series FAQ page (link in my sig) for more info.
