I've got some plans for my car, included is a CA18DET, it will consist of 3 stages, but there are some parts that are missing, 'cause I don't know who makes these parts, so I need some help.

Under-Drive Pulley's--Couldn't see anywhere that Unorthodox makes pulley's for the CA18, do they? are there any pulley's that'll work, like SR20 or KA24?

Adjustable Cam Sprockets--Do JUN, HKS, NISMO, or Toda make sprockets for the CA18?

Ignition--Can Splitfire SR20 coil packs be adapted to the CA18? are there any other suggestions?

Fuel Rail--I can probably get it made custom, but does someone know of a nice one that bolts on?

Exhaust Manifold--I really want the HKS one, what are my chances of finding one somewhere? I know it's discontinued,

THANKS!!!!!111

The only question i can answer is the one about the adjustable cam sprockets. Yes, HKS, Jun, Toda and maybe even Nismo still make these for the CA, but watch out there are two types of HKS pulleys:old one(coloured black and better one) and the new purple one(not so good from what i heard).

You don't need new coil packs, if you leave them uncovered the won't cook off but if you simply must have them FET and Splitfire Japan make coils for the CA. I doubt anyone carries them stateside.

The HKS manifold can be found (even at my house) but the most common one I see these days is the Trust(greddy) stainless one. Problem is it uses that #@%*?+ triangular Trust turbo flange. If you don't mind having the flange changed it's really nice.

To my knowledge (far from omnipotent) nobody makes underdrive pulleys for a CA. Gimmicky anyway I wouldn't waste money on them if they did.

Gimmicky maybe but if you wanted them Unorthodox is based here on the east coast. I read that their shop is close to me.

I have heard that they will work with customers on a they build it you test it basis. Give them a call.

I can't see why they wouldn't build it if you told them that they would have 30 customers for them.

JUN makes gears, so I like that,

UD Pulley's can be custom made, in fact, I can make them :) So that's finished.

Someone said Splitfire made an ignition, so I'll import that,

Fuel Rail can also be custom made, probably by me, so I don't have to worry about that,

And the HKS manifold is still somewhat available, so looks like I got it covered, THANKS!!!

When you say you can make that are you doing it yourself or do you have a fabricator in your area doing it for you?

If the rail's fine, then that can stay, I'd rather have some new cam sprockets from a reputable company, just a thing I have, I'd also like to have a stronger spark,

I can make my own UD Pulley's, I'm a Machinest Student, I've got access to a CNC Lathe, and then I'll have access out of college, since that's my major :)

Stock ignition is a lot better than you think, it's more a function of which plugs you have in the car over which coils.

I've got 750cc injectors in my factory fuel rail (just so you know)

And I am 90% sure UR makes a pulley for the Pulsair 1.8 CA18DE. And I remember seeing how the pulley made like 5 or 6hp on an SR20DE and almost 25rwhp on a 300ZX TT. But still if it were my money I'd spend it on a lightweight flywheel insted.

well, these are just more bolt on things before I get into the engine, which I don't think will happen with this car and engine, I'm just trying to do things in moderation, this is my first real car, I'm only 17 :) not for too long, though, but it's all good, My plans are only 325hp, on a HKS GT2835,

yes, I know...I actually paln on more than just what you said, I've split it into to 3 stages,

Stage-I Install w/ Intake, Front Pipe, Exhaust and some other new install stuff

Stage-II Support equipment and electronics, FMIC, and some other little support things

Stage-III larger turbo, exhaust manifold, fuel, and some other things to support that much power, it'll just be capable of that, I don't want that much on the street, the stock 7psi is fine on the street.
