ok , so I bought a 180sx up here in Canada with these wheels on them, I did some research and they are MODEX wheels designed by the famous real "drift king" Keiichi Tsuchiya. This is the same man who started the famous aftermarket suspension brand KEI Office . They came on my car and to be honest I just want to go with a different look right now. Wheels are in amazing shape with no major problems. They are 4 bolt, 16x8 and 16x7.

Tires are 205/55/16 up front with Pilots

235/50/16 in the rear, not sure on brand, but I could check.

Tires have great tread all around.

I know a person on a forum that spend $400 per wheel on these, and then almost $400 each to ship them from Japan. To my knowledge these cars were only sold in Japan, so these are authentic JDM wheels.

Im on a site called son240sx.org and these guys love drifting and all things JDM, so how much should I ask?! I was thinking around $2 000. Would this sound fair? What do you guys think?

Not my exact wheels but basically the same:

I'm not 100% sure but I just did a quick google search and I didn't see a single set of those for sale for over 800$. But what do I know?...

I don't any near stock offset/width/size would retail for over a grand. I wouldn't pay that for them personally.

Lol, dude people from SON visit this site too.. I'm one of them

I doubt you will get $2000 for them, maybe $500 if you play your cards right. They don't have off the wall ridiculous sizing or any crazy offsets that would warrant such a high price.

You know how SON is, lowballer city. Start them off higher than you expect, then lower the price and people will think they're getting a deal!

Jks, I'd reccomend starting them around $5-600 and checking the interest, if no one bites lower your price.

take off a tire and put it on the scale. If the thing weights more than 14lb for 16x7, it ain't worth $200 a piece.

You might be able to score 400-500 for them, and I highly doubt anywhere near a grand, and definitely no where close to two.

My set of KS05r's were $800 shipped and they were in PERFECT condition! Unfortunatly there is no way you can score over that for just wheels, with tires, maybe $1000 with tires.

and FYI, there are plenty of people who want 16's... just as there are those who want all the other sizes...

OP, 2g's would be real nice, but i think you know your answer already. i think they are sexy wheels and someone out there will def snatch them up. GLWS

I doubt you will get $2000 for those wheels. A reasonable offer would probably be $600 plus shipping. Good Luck on the possible sale.

Down here in SOCal, you would get $600 max for 'em, things may be different in Canada. I would never pay over $2000 for rims but if I did they would be HRE or Kinesis.
