Hey guys I was jus wondering how do you become a moderator for a forum?

When we feel the need of plugging a hole in coverage, we generally pick a member.

Usually such a memebr has shown a lot of positive contributions in the past and is generally well regarded and/or has a high degree of expertise is a given area.

We discuss this member on a seperate moderator forum and then ask him to step up, if the result is unanimous (or nearly so)

PS: kcar never was cleared by a majority of moderators.. a breakdown that has cost us dearly you 2 have a lot in common except he contributed more..
