model questions S, X, Base

I been looking around since new to the M and need a hub as I speak and I see BASE model and "X" model but never really see "S" model
I know mine is rwd and just seen the m37 comes awd which is badass and im assuming that's the "x" model?

but when I need parts like a hub or similar stuff do I just choose "base" model since it comes out as RWD or what do I look for if not?

S is mostly cosmetic stuff other than the BBK and 4WAS...hence why you're probably not seeing a difference between Base RWD and S RWD.

seats are different between S and base. the rear diff is also a LSD on the S vs open on the base.

S had a bunch of little stuff which was not available in other packages:

Akebono Brakes (4 piston front, 2 piston rear) and 20" wheels
4 wheel steering
sport springs and dampers
sport front bumper
smoked front grill
smoked headlights
paddle shifters
sport seats and steering wheel cover and gauge cover
sport floor mats
aluminum pedals

Using Brake Motive rotors from ebay on my 2011 m56s. i also had these on my old Fx35 back in the day. great setup, slotted and crossdrilled also zinc coated so they dont rust. great deal as well...

i'm using EBC USR slotted rotors and their red stuff pads. had them on for about 5k so far and no issues.

I have a 13 xS, I thought that it was not equipped with the 4 wheel steering.

I also thought that the S had a stiffer suspension than an base or x.

For brake pads and rotors go on eBay. A lot of options.

If you have an S you have to really pay attention. It's easy to make a mistake.

anyone knows how to make the car beep again once u lock it. it used to to once I locked all doors with remote to let me know its locked and now it does not make a noise at all
