2015 SV model. Regarding the various switches in the dash panel located left of the steering wheel: Should these switches light up when activated? My Warning Systems switch does, but the others do not.
The Owner's Manual says that when a mode, such as ECO or Sport is activated, a notification will appear in the tachometer for a few seconds, then disappear. I do get that warning, but it stays on.

Bump: Please, anyone; should these switches light up?

I'm hesitant to ask my "dealership". When I test drove the car, I noticed the lack of a hand brake. I pointed that out, asking about parking brakes. The reply was a hesitation, and then some mumbling about the new model not needing them. I groped around with my foot and found the foot-operated parking brake. Got an "oops" from the rep. So I don't feel comfortable getting any help there about the switches.

When I activate the awd switch on my 2014 the logo stays on the tach until I hit 40kmh but I think its changed on the 2015. I never noticed if the switch itself stays lit.

Those who don't physically light up show a notification on the dash board.
On my 2015 SL, the only one that does light up is (like you), the warning system. But ECO, SPORT or any other will stay on as long as the mode is engaged.
At least that's what happens on my 2015. Not sure if it's supposed to be different on the 2014. That shows you that even manuals can be wrong.
As for the dealer not to know what kind of parking brake there is on the Rogue, pretty lame.
If your job is to sell a product, then you need to know that product really well. You have a 2014 so that vehicle was fresh from the lines when you bought it but it's an obvious difference compared to the previous gen.

You can tell if the switch had an indicator that lights up by looking at the switch closely. If it has an indicator, you'll see the"lens" just like the one on your safety warning switch.

Thanks, all! I rest easier. (Or until I throw my back out, bending over to examine the switch looking for a lens...)
