modding windows controller

this is more of a general question than a specific j30 question. but i got a j30, so yea.....

a friend of mine had a pickup truck one time and the windows were automatic up and down. so when you pressed the button one way, the window would go all the way up or down, depending on the button press. is there a way to make all the windows in the car do this by changing something in their controller module?? or would i have to buy some aftermarket box thing??
