Modding Guide for Noobs

I'm a total noob at modding and here and there on this forum I see things like "TB bypass", "Airbox mod", etc., etc. I want to start a new thread where more advanced modders can teach us newbies about various options. If this thread takes off I thought I could pull this info out into a pdf file and make this guide available to all newcomers.

I think the following template will work the best:

I'm surprised. No interest in helping newbies out? Anyone? What is TB bypass?

Do some looking through previous threads on the TB bypass. The consensus is that there's little if any gain to it and not for those in cold climates in any case.

That being said, I'll toss one out there...

Mode name: Exhaust modPurpose (what it does): frees up airflow (IIRC) just before the mufflerApproximate cost: Free minus one coat hanger or some picture-hanging wireCar models/years supported: 03-04Implementation instructions: Wire open the valve from the exhaust that supposedly keeps the exhaust more quiet till you stomp on it at which time it opens by what I believe to be vacuum acuated cabling.Additional comments: Do it. Little performance gain (butt dyno says nil) but slightly better sound
