Um, it's complimentary roadside assistance. Why would I pay to have it towed myself? They also change your flat tire for you. Why the hell would I not use this service? At a minimum the car gets towed back to my shop so I can work on it with the correct tools and equipment. Not some ridiculous scissor jack.elmo14226 wrote:Do you really want to get your insurance company involved when you get a flat tire?WDRacing wrote:I've always used my spare compartment as storage since I have towing coverage with my Ins.
in my trunk i carry a fully charged Milwaukee m18 impact wrench, with the correct socket size already on it. i also have the gay oem jack already out in the tool bag, ready to go. all i need to do, is remove the spare from its respective location.WDRacing wrote:Um, it's complimentary roadside assistance. It should also be noted that a metric ton of people no longer use the stock wheels and tires. So using a spare might present a situation where the wheels and tires are mismatched in size.
In you guys opinion I should avoid using this service because of the horror of making a phone call? Sell crazy someplace else, we're all full here.
How many flat tires do you get to carry an impact gun around with you? And an expensive one none-the-less.ImStricken06 wrote:in my trunk i carry a fully charged Milwaukee m18 impact wrench, with the correct socket size already on it. i also have the gay oem jack already out in the tool bag, ready to go. all i need to do, is remove the spare from its respective location.WDRacing wrote:Um, it's complimentary roadside assistance. it literally takes me under 10 minutes to change my flat. by the time you are done with your phone call, i will already be on my way.
but you did make a good point regarding aftermarket rim sizes and spare tires
THANKFULLY i almost never get a flat tire(once so far in the rogue) i plug it without even removing the wheel off the car. i layed down and pushed the plug in, and used the high volume air compressor i carry in my car.TrevorK wrote:How many flat tires do you get to carry an impact gun around with you?
