I purchased my 3.5se 6speed coupe in late october and have yet to add any mods, but plan on in the near future. I was going to throw on BBS 19" alloys + BRS potenza reo9's being i manage a D/C that's one of the largest tire and wheel distributors in the US and i get custom stuff for next to nothing. My only problem with lowering my profile, (tire to wheel) is that when i open the throttle completely thru 1st and 2nd gear and i hit any sort of a bump in the road i get the loudest slam followed by spinning/non-tracking tires. I guess this is one of the downsides of having a fwd that is very light and has over 250hp. I'm not really sure if moding this car out will do it any justice. It's already very powerfull for what it is and i have no problem taking out 300hp mustang gt's which i know isn't saying much, but i just feel if i spent the money to get this car up around 325 to 350hp it just wouldn't ride, perform, or be able to handle that much juice. any eDJeWcAtEd comments or opinions out there? NICE pics! welcome to the clan!

I say go ahead an mod it if you want more HP its still going to ride awesome, because the platform its built on is one of the most symmetrical and stable ever made for a FWD (noticed the lack of torque steer? ) ! but watch out with the bigger wheels and low profile. it will damage your car parts faster with the firmer ride. For mods, you can try the intake by injen, or fujita to make it sound AWESOME! also I congratulate your choice of the 6spd manual ! the best mod for the 6spd right now is to change the manual transmission fluid to some redline synthetic to have butter smooth shifting. (I will make a tutorial once I get the time to). As for performance mods, there is a 448hp turbo coming out supposedly in January. With that, the car is going to rip some serious rubber. Tthere isn't an LSD for the car yet but if you have the optional VDC on your 3.5SE it's REALLY going to help if you turbo charge it

Welcome to Nico! Very nice car. For now, I would recommend going with some nice rims and the Injen intake. You can follow-up with the Eibach pro kit (if you like the effect/feel of aftermarket springs) and perhaps a cat-back exhaust system.
