Mod advice for '07 Maxima

OK, first things first:

Hi, I am Newbie and I have a driving addiction and like to ask stupid questions....

Seriously though, I do have some mod questions that I could really use some help with. I have never modified a Maxima before and prefer not to screw it up so I ask of your great wisdom.I want to get some more performance out of my car but not looking to build a street racer and I don't want a really loud car either. I am considering a Fujita F5 cai, is this a wise choice or is there a better brand for my car? Next would be exhaust, I am leaning towards the Nismo catback and would like to know if I should leave the resonator in place (to tame the sound some) or some other option? Will the resonator defeat the purpose of a performance exhaust? Also, what are your opinions about "under drive pulleys" and "heavy duty ground wires".

Fujita had a good rep and will do you just fine. I would look into a Cattman exhaust set up, really good quality product. As for the resonator, just go with a smaller one, I have the 22"Magnaflow one on my car and it sounds nice and deep with little or minimal droning.

Where can I find info on the cattman ex.? Web searches don't come up with much for an '07. Also, should I just go ahead and bite the bullet and include new Y pipe and HF Cat? OK, one last ?, will these mods effect nissan warranty any?

Oops my bad, the y-pipe is ready and the exhaust setup will be test fitted next week, so it's not actually out yet...keep an eye out though. They will only affect warranty if Nissan (the dealer) can prove that the exhaust caused the problem you are having.

I have decided to use a Nismo catback system, will the cattman y-pipe fit well with it and do I need to add a hf cat after the y-pipe?
