MobileImports DELETED!!???

Ok so a local forum of mine, and many members on NICO, was deleted today. This is the only idea I could come up with for our members to discuss it. I would be grateful if this thread remained open for us MI members. Thanks!!

So WTF guys??? What's the story exactly? It says the site was suspended because it violated the terms and agreements by posting 57 prohibited images. Obviously the NWS section but not even a warning?? Hopefully Blake or Brandon can shed some light for us.

EDIT: Wait, I think I get it - If you're telling me that you guys had a site, separate from NICO, that was suspended by the host because it contained inappropriate images, that's no surprise. You don't get a warning. The person who owns the domain and who pays for the hosting agrees to certain terms, and those include no adult images.

Wait - no one was paying. It was on freeforums. Oops. Bummer. That's what happens when you don't read the rules. Why should they lose their business because someone can't follow the rules?

You're welcome to use the Regional forums here on NICO to organize your events and discussions - Keep the NWS on your own PC, though.

Once again, I never said anything like that. I didn't blame nico for anything. I stated in the first post that there are many nico club members that were also on our local forum and this is the only way I could think of to contact them.

Ok, don't freak out - Your post was unclear.

I know you didn't say anything about them losing their business. My point was, I read the rant from "admin" (whoever that is) and he's kinda clueless. See, FreeForums makes attestation to their host that they won't allow any p0rn or nws content. That's in their terms of service with advertisers (like AdSense). That's how they make their income. So, if some chucklehead forum "owner" violates THEIR agreement with FreeForums and allows p0rn, then they've just placed FF at risk.

Thus, my statement: Why should FF lose their business because a FF user can't abide by the rules?

That's all. Just making a point.

Bryan, the formus is back up. Apparently they're allowing a window or something if they can get the nudies deleted, the forum can stay? I don't know, was just doing some reading on freeforums.org. Looks like a lot of forums went down. Mobiledomestics as well.
