10w30 is sufficient for such a broad range of temps... Here's a great thread with some brilliant commentary by Fred....

I've run Mobil One 15w50 for over 10 years in temps from -30 to 115° F and have been completely pleased with it's performance. Engine disassembly showed very clean conditions inside and no wear, even under very stressful conditions(Porsche 928, blown head gasket with overheating at high rpm.)

Thats good info!!!!There are too many PPL brainwashed by the current trend to thin oils that think 50 weights are crazy thick. There are cars out there that have 10w-60 as their mandatory all year 'round fill.Clearances are no different than out VH45de's...

MOBIL1 15w-50 flows better at cold temps, than oils we all called winter oils in teh 50's...
