Question:
Why not switch to a 215/40 tire instead of a 225/40?
Tires in that size are kinda rare/expensive
and 215 will met more clearance/lowness.
well the last guy didnt cut the original fender before he put the overs on. so i cut it best i could from the inside but theres no way i can have the rear super flush because they'll hit the cut up hammered metal. besides how do you even adjust that? and the fronts rub like crazy when turning without all the camber. especially around hard corners.240lookis wrote:looks good lower as always dude... good s***.
i would definitely take that rear camber out to -1 since you have overs and probably even add a 5 mil slip on or 10mm bolt on.
ride height looks good, but now its time to work on your fitment which is currently lacking.
hmmm...did you read what i said? i have a 45's right now. i want 40's so ill have LESS ground clearance. the whole point of this thread is to go lowerOM3GA wrote:DO NOT switch to a 45 series tire on a 17 inch rim. That is just plain gay. If you are trying to get more ground clearance raise them damn car. Don't run a 45 they feel sloppy. Especially at high speeds. Don't worry about the tires rubbing unless they are rubbing constantly on something.
