Dates figured out so far, August 25th and 26th. Meet up on Friday afternoon(?), get acquainted, maybe do some photoshoots, etc. Possibly a dinner out someplace with all of us together and then cruise down to Midway in Minneapolis and hang out together and possibly pick up more cars from people that aren't on the forums. The next day meet up at DB Performance, hang out, dyno, BBQ or something. Cruise, etc afterward either down to Midway or just drive around on the interstate . Chances are I will be there from the 25th-27th, but I realize not everyone may be available for the entire time. As more people submit interest, I will try to get an "Official Hotel" so we can all stay together if we are from outta town and maybe get cheaper rooms?

Pretty much any Japanese sports or vip/performance car that is RWD or AWD is welcome. I'd love to see some of you guys make an appearance! Should be a good time. So far we should have representatives from MN, WI, SD, IA, and ND, and maybe Manitoba. Stop by for 10 mins or hang out the entire weekend, we'd love to have you! If you are planning on coming from out of town, I need to know ASAP. Also, even if you are local I would still like to know so I can get an idea of a turnout etc.

Thanks,Tony

PS: Pass the word on to anyone that you might think would be a good addition to the meet. Word of mouth will make this BIG! I have 2 video cameras lined up already but could use more and still cameras are always welcome as well! I would like to see a DVD of the event if big enough!

Any rooms needed? I want to reserve a block before this weekend and I need a head count for rooms needed.

We shall be doing it next year as well, as long as everything goes well this year anyway.

Wow, I saw nothing about this before. Glad I checked the forum today. I'll see if I can gather some more locals for that weekend.

hmmmm, i know i cant afford any pulls, and id be embarassed to take any....

but me and ajax will almost definately be there with my 240s as his is outta state right now.

this sounds like what we've been waiting for folks, its just these midwest forums dont get much attentions, we need to spread the word.

sr_s14zenki go to http://www.d-town.us and advertise there. thats a local forum for minneapolis, and they're almost all drifters. lots of those guys have nice cars and are from this area and would love to come out.

Exactly. I have seen all the cool meets happen all over the place, but oddly none in Minneapolis. This is my shot in the dark to try it. If it works this year, there will be more.

Where are you guys meeting up on Friday? Where is DB Performance? And yes, I will try to make it.

Ok, heres the deal: I was going to meet up at Como Park on friday at like 7pm but I think we are going to do that moreso around 3 pm, and then later in the night we are going to meet up at the Rainbow Foods on Uni.

DB Performance is in Rogers, MN, but I don't think the Dyno will be happening because I haven't gotten enough response about it. Need ideas on what else to do? Maybe Pro-Karts or something.

If we can't get enough for dynos maybe we can try it again next year and try to make this a yearly event. At the very least, we need to get the word out and get people together.I personally am not available until after 6pm on weekdays, but other people might not have 9-5 type schedules. In any case, I'll be there even if I have to steal my neighbor's pig nose with the "brown and low car club" sticker. JK, I'll invite the guy.Friday at Como park until later in the evening. Then move to Rainbow Foods.

We are moving it to Friday at roughly 3pm at Como Park due to an oversight. We will be moving to Rainbow Foods at around 6-7pm for the night on Uni.
