First the story...

I have a great appreciation for handling, lots of room, and luxury. That's why I bought the M35. I lowered it with Tein HT's, and improved the looks while totally maintaining ride quality. But something was missing. I longed for better handling still. Plus I wanted a more aggressive stance. Since I already had the nice factory 19's with Michelin PS2's mounted on them I felt I had reached the limits.

I borrowed a friends 20's with Toyo Proxy 4's mounted on them and was surprised at how much better the car handled. And, the ride quality degradation was very small except over the largest potholes. A added plus, the car looked way more aggressive.

Next I found Element wheels on the internet and loved the prices and all of the free stuff you get (lugs, hubcentric ring, mounting & balancing). For you guys free shipping as well without taxes. No I am not getting paid by them! They did ask if they could post a picture of my car on their site though.

The wheels are staggered. 8.5 inches wide in the front with +35mm offset, and 10 inches in the rear with a +43mm offset. The tires are 245/35 in the front and a wide 275/30 in the rears. The rear wheel has a 4 inch lip and the front 2.25 inches. The tires are Toyo Proxy T1r's. No rubbing whatsoever!!! The best part, $2000 out the door. As many of you know, the online prices of Toyo T1r's alone is $1300 unmounted. The wheels at the MMR wheel site go for over $500 each.

I have not had a chance to take pictures-but I have a picture they took right after the install (they are located 8 miles from me).

The handling and ride quality is excellent. Hope you guys like 'em as well as I do...

Sweet!! Congrats. Great mod. Are the HT springs the one's that are a "luxury" drop?.. aka moderate drop in height?

Those where my first choice of wheels. You found a great price. That was the only reason I went multi piece because I only paid a few hundred more for them. Car looks nice with those wheels and your color.

Thanks five & new. I really appreciate the feedback. Wait til I take some pictures. Then you will see them really shine.

Pure as silk. No vibes. Smooth. Sporty feel to them. Definetly getting the looks now from folk.

Could you take a pic of the rear end of the car? I like to see how mean the 275/30/20 rear setup you got.

I am getting 19"s with a staggered setup. My rear will be 275/35/19. I don't have that setup in my car yet so I am wanting to see a closeup of your rear setup to have a general idea/feel.

Thanks for your time if you are going to upload those photos!
