leave it to hitman to be completely useless, he only wishes he was as cool as the Tinman...

can't really answer your question though bro, if Fred were around at the moment, he'd be all over this, there's probably someone that can though:)

VOD - I always imagined you as more of a Redline girl.

Nothing but the best for you, dear - These youngsters just don't know how to treat a lady. :)

I used it to clean out my combustion chambers. I have to think it did a lot of good judging by the amount of crap that came out the pipe.

EDIT: Sorry, I got confused between MMO and Seafoam. Seafoam is what I used, and it works well. The MMO I've bought, but it's still just sitting on my shelf.

you know whats awesome, go to a mopar dealer and pick up some "mopar combustion chamber cleaner"

its foamy, what i do is pull the pcv hose to the intake manifold, and spray it directly into the hose with the motor idleing. works like a charm. also, if the carbons real heavy, ill let it soak overnight, then run it for a few minutes before i change the oil and plugs.

I've heard about the Mopar stuff. Ford makes some good stuff too I've heard. See my EDIT above...I was thinking of Seafoam, not MMO.

MMO is great for go-cart, lawn mowers and small 2 stroke motor cycles.

I dont think the MOPAR stuff would work good on the the Q if its foamy... Not sure on other cars, but i assume on nissans its about the same..... GMs TOP ENGINE CLEANER is perfect for this, and goes right through the brake booster..... Probably about the same as seafoam, though...

MMO is good stuff, esp. for older dumbestics.

Not necessary for the Q (unless you think you really need an oil additive).

MMO is a decent product though not a be-all end all.

I wouldnt use it so much as an oil additive unless right previosu to an oil change.

works well when alternating to Chevron Techron injector cleaner ( or similiar) when added to fuel to alternate detergernts in fuel.

Is basically a petroleum based poewrtrain friendly cleaner.Has quite a few things in common with Seafoam and GM top engine cleaner.

Dont put all that much at once.Do one bottle (or serving IAW directions) per tank.

Bad for seals.

So the MMO is basically the same stuff as seafoam.... Hmmm, maybe this would be good for my cleaning pursuit....

Not the same similiar.I prefer MMO in fuel application, thoiugh it simpler for fuel for me to just use chevron techron and for oil I use MOBIL1 ATF.

Wes I still think your best solution may be a drop of the oil pan.

Fred...:)
