Sorry about the country-accented title- I'm ecstatic about the readings I got from my KA24DE So here it is:180 Cylinder 1180 Cylinder 2179 Cylinder 3180 Cylinder 4And no, I am not kidding folks- this is a 89,000 mile KA with a slightly abused automatic transmission No need for a rebuild here- I will be draining the transmission fluid and replacing all fluids and the filter to prep the transmission for the KA-T. I am also in the process of replacing spark plugs/wires, relocating the battery, and buying a transmission cooler. Any relatively easy, inexpensive preparations that you'd suggest before I begin the swap?

I have the same reading at 116k for a 1991 ka24de + transmission which was sold to a forum member for 600$ The engine runs great but personally I think my gauge is optimistic. It is said that compression gauge, varying in brands, may be inaccurate for up to 10psi.

In any case, it's still a high reading and the numbers are very consistant, good stuff.

Same readings here at 136k. Been driven pretty hard too. Boosted for 9 months now. One month of 9psi so far.

Good job man. Boost time!!!!
