I have had nothing but bad luck with my car. I have a ka24et in a 90 hatch and I cant keep a gasket on this thing. I know people say the stock one will hold a lot of boost but I am not getting more than a couple hundred miles between blowing the gasket. I have blown them at 3 psi 5 psi 10psi 15psi .Just the other day I made 7 pulls on the dyno with no problems. Then I left and got on it once pulled real hard and then blew the gasket. I have arp studs and have tried fel pro, topline, and nissan gaskets with no luck.Every time with new head and gasket (block checked for flatness). W.T.F. Someone please help. I have a blown motor someone gave me and I pulled it apart and found a steal laminated gasket it says stone os on it and I really want one but cant find one. Any help would be great. THANKS

Does anyone else with a single cam turbo setup have this problem with blowing gaskets?

and will it lower compression any on an otherwise stock motor? i`m exactly where 12vT is, except no turbo, mine`s having heat issues and i`ve ordered a cometic in hopes of it not being able to "blow" anymore.
