Hey there, Im a little newer here but i've tried searching this and come up with nothing. How many of you have mixed matched body kits, mostly on the s13 coupe? I am looking at eventually getting some type of areo and i like different things. In particular i want the origin stylish bumper, agressive side skirts, and then a no ricey looking bumper. Just curious on how the lines match up. Thanks!

I'll help you.It seems that "other" people in this thread want to just talk ****.

The stylish is a more subtle kit as opposed to the aggressive. The aggressive skirts will probably be a bit lower than the Stylish front )and probably lower than the "no rice" rear bumper.

The Aggressive stuff is just not my cup of tea. I don't like it. Looks like a plank of wood angled to the side. No thanks.I'd say your best bet is to go Stylish Origin all around.Everything will flow better.

In case nobody ever told you...it IS possible to go aftermarket aero without also going homosexual.....so you can put your front bumper to rest and get one that actually connects in the front

I actually own the origin stylish front bumper and I am quite content to how it looks...it gives the front mount a lot more attention because it doesn't have to hind behind as much

Dude, how do you know what this guy has on his car or what he is planning for it? His avatar says he's already SR'd. Maybe he's already done the basic stuff.

Stop being an ***.

dont waste your money on a kit. imo if you have a coupe instead of the money in a body kit id go sil front w pignose lip, these side skirts(if you can find the name),and mud flaps for a mellow look. this is how my coupe looks with it:

^ I like the front lip but something about those side skirts looks retarded... To OP. Aggresive side skirts with a stylish front bumper wont really flow, just get one style and stick with it.

In my opinion, I wouldn't go with a body kit. I really don't like them. I'm personally just gonna lower my car a little bit, throw some nice wheels on it, and put a piggy front lip on it. If you really wanna get a body kit, then listen to most of these guys and just go with all aggressive or all stylish cuz mixing and matching isn't really a good idea because it wont flow correctly and you will end up looking like a ricer.

those skirts are hideous.

for a coupe, since you already have sil front, i say go with OEM silvia sides, vertex rear, and some kind of front. i dont know much about silvia front bumpers.

but to answer the original question, i dont think aggressive sides with stylish front would look that bad at all.

aggressive (front )

stylish

it actually sort of works.

i like those wheels in the picture showing the stylish kit...

also yeah, something about those skirts on that flat black coupe just doesn't flow at all...

and i can't wait to put my pignose lip on~

I thought u said " id like to see how your horse tit's sit" LMAO

Random i know ^^

OP, get someone who can photoshop and toss them some ideas. Personally thought when you mic and match it will ALWAYS most usually show. I take back the always it will not always show but is most cases it does.

Good luck!

Well thank you to those that replied. I wouldnt exactly say that im going for looks over performance first, im just trying to plan out how my money is going to be spent.

I just bought the car from a very good friend of mine and he has done a lot of work on the performance aspect. I have the sr motor, gt28rs, full catback, full coil overs, ported greddy style intake manifold, aftermarket exhaust manifold, cat delete, a dec selection of gauges, ect. The just after basic stuff in my opinion. The main reason that i want to alter how the car looks is i know how it is to see all your hard work rolling down the street with someone else driving it. I have a bunch of plans for this car, but seeing as how my buddy and i are going to school together and will live around each other i am doing out of respect as well as i want to paint the car so its good timing in my opinion.

The reason for mixing in my opinion is that i love the side skirts of the agressive, silvia_ks_69 has exactly what i want the side of my car to look like and he was telling me that is the agressive kit. I will be living in milwaukee when i get back from Germany, and the streets are ****. The agressive looks cool as Sh$% but i think it be torn right off (bumper that is) I love the look of this car as is, but it also has a ton of potential all around, not just performance. I've been searching the fourms for different pics of other peoples rides and ive seen a lot of you guys and girls that have sic looking cars. Thats what i would like, i mean if we dont make it our own, then its just a car, but it can be our car if we choose.

O and btw, i've had a 240 and worked on them so im not just buying this amazing vehicle and without knowing what im getting into. Top mount gt3071r 5 lug conversion cams and stroker kit are my goals by the end of next year, but we'll see.

Again, thanks everyone, i appreciate the advice!

Is there some rule book about how one should modify their car? He already has an SR maybe that's all the power he needs. And who says Bodykits are Gay? You? P.S ulgyness = ugliness sugesting = suggesting ect = etc. English = FAIL.

To OP i vote u go Stylish all around. The Stylish Kit looks really good in person, and if you paint the whole car well. It'll be that extra umph you need to have you car stand out from the crowd.

P.S Make sure you have an FMIC. Stylish + empty holes = FAILURE

Haha i agree. I mean everyone has their own opinion, and i must admit there are a lot of bad body kits out there, but thats just what i think. If you like it then sweet its your ride do it.

Plus i have some go fast parts, and i'll always agree that its go before show for what i like.

Never enough power lol but for my budget i cant do a whole lot of stuff now. I m a student over seas in germany right now and this has to be my dd for a year, which also means one winter, and anybody from milwaukee knows that a rwd boosted car isnt the best choice lol. I'll have fun, no talent drifting right?

Hey no worries man. If it makes you feel better, my old 240 wasnt boosted even though my sr motor set was sitting next to it at my house for a year. Plus i havent even had the chance to drive my new one, though ive been in it before the coilovers and its nice.

Those are some serious rides geeze! Thanks for the post, the more the better! If those are mixed, im glad because with everything else, i cant tell. I mean with a nice paint job and good wheels, most of the attention is off the actual lines of the car and more how it comes together as a whole. Thanks

oh give me a break with these kind of responses.

If you can't properly respond or have any knowledge on the topic, no one wants to read what you have to say. I mean, if you're gonna thread jack, at least make it look cool instead of coming off as an A*hole.
