I am in the process of disassembling my 89's ka24e. If I find nothing else wrong with it besides a blown headgasket, I am going to build it up for a turbo. A friend of mine has just upgraded his 91 talon with 550 injectors and he has offered his old 440s to me for free. does anyone know if these are capable of being modified for use on a ka's fuel rail? Or am I just going to have to buy special injectors?thanks, chad

Those injectors are top feed. While your KA24E are top feed as well, the DSM injectors will not bolt up to the fuel rail. The KA24E's have a smaller feed. I don't know of any injectors that will "bolt-up" to your fuel rail, since KA24DE injectors are side feed, as well as all the SR injectors.I would just use a custom fuel rail. Unstable-Hybrids sells one for around $75, and JWT sells one for $200 (absurb) (these quotes are for the KA24DE, so you'd have to call concerning your engine).1g dsm's have high impedence injectors like our motors, which is what you want. 2g dsms switched to low impedence, so those won't work, unless you get crafty.

How about the Starion/Conquest injectors, would they work for the KA24E?
