i believe that turbo is pretty small similiar to the t25....so search up t25 and see what performance people get out of those...i think it was around 230hp...pushing that small turbo on a KA will choke your motor

i'm not sure about the size, but a 2G DSM T25 is miniature compared to a 14B, and i know many DSM'ers who use this turbo efficiently. i have a close friend that was overboosting 25PSI on his 1G, and it held, so i'd imagine that it runs rather well at 15 PSI. anyone else have ideas for me?

from expierence...i used this turbo on a 2.0L honda motor....95mm stroke w/ 81mm bore...the power band sucked balls after 5200rpms...it was way too small...now think about using the same turbo on a 2.4L motor w/ a 96mm stroke and 89mm bore...power will fall on its face around 4600 rpms...dont use it...get a standard t3...your will be fine...

I highly doubt it held 25psi. 14B can get to maybe 18-19psi and hold that boost level, but not 25psi I know....I own a 1G as a daily driver.Wrong turbo for the KA period. Save your money and get a t3to4e which is not that much more. On top of it all the 14B's I have seen have been whored to death...including mine. Even the Evo3 big 16G is too small for the KA IMO.Even if your buddy found a way to hold 25psi on a 14B, its not making any power. @ 25psi its so far past its efficiency its not even amusing.

ok, thanks for the help.

*the 25 PSI thing, he was having all sorts of wastegate and boost controller problems. not trying to make power, his car was just messed up.
