so i have a serious day ahead of me today.... step by step procedure on how to get your headlights safely and guaranteed from Canada no customs thank god. total combined driving time for me and dangeris 16 hours

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=...4&z=7

so i need my lights by Sunday for the big meet this is how dedicate i am to the wonderful NICO community.

step 1 have brandon ship my and dangeris lights to a buddy of his near the border.

step 2 rent car (dangeris) leave at 8am to drive 4 hours across the border to pick up 2 sets of dual projectors.

step 3 call surman(me) this is when Darryl(dangeris) calls me, and tells me to leave work to drive to him in pa.

step 4/5 once lights are acquired by Darryl make U turn drive back across the border back home 4 more hours. while i drive 4 hours from new york to Darryl.

step 6 meet dangeris pick up my lights hang out for a bit enjoy our new dual projector lights...

step 7 drive back 4 hours to new york.

step 8 test and install headlights at like 10pm

step 9 post my success on the forum

step 10 go to sleep.... step 11 wake up take car to shop to get brake lines and wheel alignment. step 12 drive to brian lbc to finish his gauge cluster for the meet. step 13 go wash car and get it ready for the big day( if i have time change hvac cluster from orange to blue). step 14 go home grab a beer and chillax at the crib...

wake up in the morning and ITS MEET TIME.

BTW this is not brandons fault its the the shipping company's fault we should start our own nico shipping company service

just got a text form dangeris HaHaHa " make sure to mention that I'm rolling sexy in a red Yaris too!"

I know i know... but if it rains sat... idk if im gonna have the energy to wakeup at the butt crack of dawn to go to the texas "wash your own" spot, before i have to drive to bk... I could theoretically wash it on sat and keep it in the garage till sunday when im ready to go.... but i have nightmares of rain on my 20min drive back from the texas spot... i wish i had access to a damn hose etc at my apt building..

Im so excited!

You guys are friggin Troopers!

That's some amazing devotion to showing everyone who shows up on Sunday your cars. If this doesn't get more people out to the Meet to see these two sexy cars, then I don't know what will!

So 2 projector retrofits, 2 custom gauge clusters, 2 ED rear bumpers, and some other unique modifications yet to be mentioned... hehehe...

Im with ya buddy.. we havent had any new guys hop on the meet thread in a while... i also keep an eye out on the "new member" and see if they are NYers.. ive emailed probably a dozen since we planned the meet, and only a couple have responded/showed interest...

Show your support for the epic drive and come out to the meet!http://forums.altimas.org/zero...et-nj

I respect the dedication.

OK Guys...Got the lights, and got over the border with no cavity search. The border guy asked me what I was doing in Canada and I said "it's a long story". He said, he has the time. I said "ok" and proceeded with my story. When I was done he was like

I then proceeded back home at the avg speed was about 80mph. When I got back into PA (about 4pm)I met Mike (surmanm) at the house of wings aka Alligers. Had wings and a beer with Mike and Zack and they had to roll right afterward because they had a long drive ahead of them too! They should be back into the city about 8pm and me,..we'll I'm off to a piano concert that my wife and son are doing tonight. I'll be up late installing these bad boys!

BTW..I was pretty impressed driving that Yaris. It was quite peppy for a sub compact and great gas mileage too. The only way I can describe it is this way...almost like getting naughty with a fat chick. Sure it's fun, that is untill your friends find out

Thanks Bri! Good to be back and yes they did do a cavity search and it was some hot blonde border chick wearing a uniform that was two sizes too small During the cavity search I felt like Stiffler in the last scene of American Pie! Oh Yeah..Milkin' the prostrate baby!
