So my ASE Master mechanic buddy and I were fiddling with my car yesterday. He noticed that my TPS was having no effect on the car. We tested the TPS itself and found that it all kinds of wack. So I ordered a new one.

Then, he looked at the harness, and there is only two yellow with silver dot wires going to the TPS. He found that one is constant 12v (refrence) and one seems to be a ground. The lowest pin on the TPS has no wire going to it. We split back the harness and found no evidence of a wire in there. When I first went through the harness (that I bought pre-modified and turned out to be a POS), the water temp sensor wires were split in the harness somewhere and the ECU was throwing a code. According to the FSM, the TPS jumpers into the water temp and goes back to the ECU. We are going to play with the wiring once the new TPS gets here around Tuesday. So it seems we may have found the answer to my crazy weird issues...
