missing speed sensor

Ok first off this is my first post. Little history; I just purchased a s13 convertible, with a 5 speed swap. My ? for now is, when i bought the car it was missing the speed sensor, i didnt care at the time but now i have a concern.. So the car leaks, once again not woried about it cuz I got a deal on it, but anyways with the speed sensor missing, would it leak transmission fluid? Because I've been regularly checking the oil and it still registers right. Thanks for the help

you should have a huge hole on the rear end of the transmission (where driveshaft slips in) about 1.25 inches diameter on the passenger side. you need to find something to plug it with or get a speed sensor from a junkyard for 15 bucks

Buy a freaking speed sensor, not that expensive or difficult. Problem solved.

Get one for 91-94 s13. 89-90 s13 speed sensor has slightly different gear teeth. Everyone's looking for manual speed sensors, so used one runs about $50+.

Hey sorry it been back to nobody but if anyone has one laying around or can dind one at a yard that would be amazing thanks guys I just have the whole plugged for now just don't wanna buy a new one kinda steep let me know what's up. Thanks guys
