missing something on my transmission?

Hey guys i put my transmission onto the motor. I looked at the bottom and there is like a small gap at the bottom between the trans and motor. Definitley looks like something is missing there. It looks like some kind of cover or something is suppose to go there, any one know what im talking about. I probably am just going to make a piece of sheet metal to cover it up for now so no rocks or anything get in there., but any one know of this part or braket that im missing. Please help

The part you're talking about isn't right between the bellhousing and the motor is it?

I think you are referring to the little hole on the upper oil pan, it is a little rubber cover that can be removed for inspecting the flywheel/clutch I believe.
