missing part

so after looking at other engine bays on other 240s I noticed that something appears to be missing on mine



the circled area is where said part is missing from, I know that the a/c in the car doesn't work so I'm hoping that it is just part of the air conditioner that's missing, if anyone identifies what is suppossed to be there and could let me know I'd appreciate it.

Yep, it's a part of the A/C system.
