I have owned my 2003 SE 4x4 3.5 for about a month now. When I first got it, the first thing I did was change the oil and filter at 102,000 (5 1/4 qts. Valvaline 5w 30) After 1500 hundred miles of driving I am about 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart down. There is NO visible oil leaks anywhere on the engine or underneath. There is no smoke or smell from the engine bay as if leaking oil is burning off. I do not even see/smell white smoke or exhaust discoloration. So where is it going? Im stumped. This is was a one owner vehicle always serviced at the dealership. Pretty much spotless for a 2003! Honestly I am a little nervous, but welcome your comments and or suggestions. Thank you much!

I have the same issue, I just put oil in, Stealership said it was normal, but I'd love to know if I can fix it, I just found out (in this last snow storm) my LSD does not work lol

Ingested power valve screws are a possible cause (though this usually causes more severe consumption), as is a nonfunctional PCV valve or improperly working baffles in the passenger side valve cover (read here).

High mileage oil may slow or stop the consumption as well. Try Valvoline MaxLife 5W-30 for a few oil changes and see how it does.
