Missing Ocasionally

I have a 93 se with 37k on it. Sometimes when I drive it, I experience missing or sputtering while accelerating or idling. Before I aquired the car, It was taken to a shop to have 2 injectors replaced because that was believed to be the problem. It fixed it for some time before it came back. I replaced MAF sensor to see if that was the problem, it was not. Replaced ignition components and that did not help. Like I said, it happens every once in a while, but when it happens, it happens hard.

Were the ignition components you replaced the coils? If so, were they new or used? The 92-94 SE's with the VE30DE have a common problem with the ignition coils cracking and causing issues. They're a little hard to see but, just look carefully at the main body of the coils for cracks.

Have you checked the ECU for codes at all?

I have done neither. I will do both though. I will probably post back tomorrow with results.
