There are 3 settings missing from my "Comfort & Conv." menu according to the "2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible | Owners Manual".

On page 4-16, the following settings are listed, but do not appear on my vehicle:

Speed Sensing Wiper Interval Lift Steering Wheel on Exit Slide Driver Seat Back on Exit

Currently, the seat is operating in an unexpected way. When I unlock the vehicle, the seat immediatly moves to the programmed settings for the key (driver 1 or driver 2 depending on which key). Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to enter since I like my steering wheel low.

In addition this occurs:

1. when stopping, before I turn off the car, I slide the seat back and tilt the wheel up.2. stop the car (press start/stop button)3. Exit the car without locking4. Return to vehicle, get in, shut the door5. Start the car - nothing happens.

I have to manually press the seat memory selector to position the seat.

Both 1 and 2 settings have been programmed and assigned to different keys.

I have seen instances reported where wiring problems with the Intelligent Key Port has caused similar problems in the Murano model.

My service tech indicated he thought that the 2009 G37 Convertible was supposed to have both the lift steering wheel and slide driver seat back on exit and was supposed to have checked but I have not gotten a response from him yet.

Does anyone know why these features are missing from the menu? Are they an "option" that is not on my vehicle? Wiring problem? Sensor problem? Anyone else with a 2009 Infiniti G37 convertible, please check your system and let me know if you have these settings or not.

I have checked this forum and searched the internet and have not found any answers except the Murano thread about the key port - but in that case, the menu settings were present, it was just not working....

Thanks!

Welcome to NICO!

I have a 2009 G37 sedan with all options except the tech package...

In my menu, I have all the settings listed and they all work. The speed sensing wiper interval makes the wipers go faster if you're going faster. They do not sense the rain. However, the convertible is a bit different. With the premium package, Rain-sensing wipers are used.

Now a couple of thoughts. When you check the comfort & convenience menu are you stationary with the engine running? If moving, some options are grayed out.

Stationary, engine started, car in "park"

My thought is a wiring problem - Nav/control does not "sense" presence of memory/power seats so entries do not appear?

Does not explain the missing wiper speed control - unless those are both in the same harnes and harnes is not connected correctly....

Also, I have the tech package, non-sport
