missing hinges on exhaust

so i just got a new Greddy exhaust for my A/C 3.5. So the guy showed me that the car has hinges in the middle where the exhaust runs through but the stock exhaust wasnt even clamped on to them. My new exhaust has hinges to clamp on to the hinges to the car. So my question is did any one else have this simaler situation?

Nope..I didn't get the Greddy but all of the hangers that were supposed to be there were there. Call up the shop where you got it form. Perhaps they sent you the wrong kit?....

The greddy will have an extra hinge just about half ways down exhaust. Its no problem whatsoever if it remains unused, I just happened to find an extra rubber hanger and with some handy work i put use to that extra hinge. I believe it eliminated some incabin vibration, i say this because i never rode the car prior to that extra mod.

When you guys say "hinges" are you referring to the metal hooks (hangers) or the steel connecting plates that bolt together (flanges)????

Not trying to be rude...Just trying to clarify. I have never seen a "hinge" on an exhaust before.

You're going to want to contact either the manufacturer or the company you bought it through. If there are no mounting hangers then there was probably a hiccup in the production line somewhere. It sucks when it happens, but it does happen. Greddy is a great company and they'll straighten you out quickly!
