Just curious of possible reasons why a car misses/fuel cuts at WOT...

I'm only at about 10psi.

Changing spark plugs to pre-gapped NGK's..... maybe my MAF is dirty or bad and I need a replacement. Also my O2 sensor is NOT hooked up, the person who did the swap decided it would be smarter to clip the wire, instead of plugging it in. I'll be plugging that in and resetting the ECU. I know NOTHING about OBD1 engines...... are there long and short fuel trims? If there are, I could be running extremely lean/rich because of the missing o2 sensor and/or bad MAF

I wouldnt think the mafs itself is bad broc, but look at all that shady wiring to the maf, today after you change your sparkplugs I would trace those wires the whole way back, un-tape them and clean that up a bit.

being that they are one of the more delicate components of a car, thats not a rare occurrence that they get dirty or get damaged

so i'm not ruling out the possibility.... i'll try other things first like spark plugs and re-wiring the 02 sensor

You just going to hardwire it? or you going to buy a plug and try to wire the 02 to the plug?

Well does anybody know what potential reasons you would fuel cut with an SR20DET turbo and 10psi

No way of checking codes, car is pretty far away from me right now. Just trying to gather ideas.....

I'm almost 100% sure of what it is.... I am getting all new intercooler lines ran, because the coldside is plastic, and the hotside is freakin flex pipe, theres no way the flexpipe is holding boost..... So my guess is I'm running super rich and misfiring

As funny as it sounds..... my car would do the same thing and it was because the hose that went to my boost gauge was unhooked. That little bit of air did it.

mine was doing it too with my t25g, but at 13-14 psi. I had a boost/vac leak coming from that small nipple under the throttle body. I had a cap on it, but it popped off at some point. Once I put a new cap on it(this time zip tied), it seemed to take care of the prob.

Thanks I didnt think a small vacuum line would cause something like that... there are a few places on the Intake manifold i have found that aren't plugged in/capped..... perhaps it would be a good idea to find out where they go.....
